Avantis is a creative youth organisation founded in 2002, it creates active and empowering projects that positively affect young people from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds. Our projects include the development of creative workshops, seminars, media camps, TV series, documentary films and other media projects, large-scale cultural events and concerts.

Avantis is the creator of the first youth skatepark in Grizinkalns in 2003, involving social campaigns, public and private partnerships. Now, the Park is the most active sport spot in the Baltics, where annual active lifestyle events, such as “Ghetto Games” take place. Since 2013, Avantis has focused on youth media talent development, organising media camp “Young Media Sharks”, and creating " Young Media House" creative idea hub and production house for youth. The organisation is independent and project based. Projects were funded by by grants, sponsors and media partners.
